I purchased this course on June 7, 2018, having NO previous instruction in drawing. Learning to draw was a revelation and a metaphor for life: the key to drawing realistically and in perspective is seeing what is actually in front of you, rather than the optical illusions your eyes and your brain produce to create the world as you know it. The secret to drawing well is that it’s not really about artistic skill, it’s about seeing well. It’s also a great exercise in shifting your mindset that can extend into all sorts of areas of life, not just your sketchbook.
This course was great, and when I bought it at Udemy, it was really cheap, like $20 or something. Possibly the best $20 I’ve ever spent!
